As part of a tour put on by an organization called The Mystical Arts of Tibet, a group of Tibetan Buddhist monks from India recently visited the Crow Collection of Asian Art in Dallas, Texas.
They were there for a weeklong residency during which they constructed this magnificent Tantric Buddhist mandala sandpainting.
What I Wore: Shorts
I’m not really a shorts person, or a pants person, per se. However, when I bought these pajama shorts from Lane Bryant I had one dream: to wear them in real life, not just to bed. Haha. They are so gorgeous up close, the pink lace overlay is everything.
Until next time,
In the aftermath of the Salt City Strangers’ fight with the Wendigo their rivals, the Faithful Four, have been dispatched by the Pope.

Salt City Strangers: is a book about Utah pop culture, urban legends, and the things that go bump in the night. The Stranger the Better! If you’re from Utah, you’ll see them standing at Emo’s grave and say “Hey, I’ve been there”, and if you’re not from Utah, you’ll say “What the hell are they doing at that grave - these people are ridiculous!” And you’d be right. Risks and challengesLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
If unforeseen challenges arise after the project successfully funds, we will be transparent with our backers with exactly what has happened and what we intend to do about it. The biggest obstacle could be if I or Toni Doya, the artist, get so busy at work that drawing the book gets delayed. I will address that by taking vacation if need be to complete this book. Our plan is to continue Salt City Strangers as a series and to do that, we can’t disappoint our fans!
We’ve already successfully finished issue #1 on our own, and #2 with a successful Kickstarter, so we’re very familiar with the process and how everything works from ordering to fulfillment. Our team member Josh has also has success on Kickstarter and has warned us of possible pitfalls.
Salt City Strangers is a labor of love that we have fun doing regardless. We just want everyone along for the ride.
